Dear Evelyn and family, I am so sorry to read of the passing of my friend Ross. What a wonderful gentleman and a hero to me. I just loved all his war year stories and I had the benefit of reading lots of them. He was so very proud of his family, I had the pleasure of meeting a few of you, at Lakeside Pharmacy. I'll always remember him biking over, dropping in, then going off to the butcher to find something to cook for supper. He was amazing, so interested in everything in life, that's probably what kept him young at heart. Bless you. Sandy Zimmermann from the pharmacy.

I met Ross when he moved to Kelowna and stayed in touch then on. Ross was an honorable man. He loved Evelyn and he loved his family. Politicians; not so much...Rest in Peace Ross.

What I remember about Ross; He always had a joke to tell or show us at Kal Tire. He was the highlight of all our teams days. No matter what I had going, he made me smile, thank you.

Rest in peace my friend. You are a Canadian Hero and my friend!
