GOUGH, Neville A.

On March 24, 2017, we had to say goodbye to Neville A. Gough. A man of many talents: scientist, scholar, inventor, wonderful father, grandfather, husband and friend. We will miss his wisdom, anecdotes and ability to fix almost anything. We admired his love of the earth and the natural environment, his knowledge of genus and species, and teaching us about Master Mxyzptlk. Most of all we thank him for all the love.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Charles and I used to look forward to your mom and dad's visits in Oroville, where we holidayed for years. We spent hours trading stories and catching up on family news (and some bragging.....they were pretty proud of you and your accomplishments!) I don't remember if they were friends in T'dad -- but they were together at UBC, Agi. Dept & probably worked together in soil surveying, putting themselves through university. (Charles died in 2013). I'll keep them in my prayers.

I worked with Neville at the Ministry of Agriculture in the seventies. He was a true gentleman and I've never forgotten his quiet and kind spirit over the years. My condolences to the family.

This is a man we loved to see in our shop. HIs visits always gave us a warm feeling and we grew quite fond of Neville. We truly will miss him and wish his family the best of all wishes. We were truly blessed to know Neville.
