GLASSPOOL, John

Born February 11, 1928 in Winchester, England, passed away on June 9, 2010 at the Hospice House, Kelowna, BC, at the age of 82.

He is survived by his loving companion Clare Tewnion of Peachland, BC, daughter June Smith of Richmond, son Ken Glasspool (Cindy) of Richmond; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, also by extended family and many good friends. Tragically John was predeceased by his son-in-law Barry, also on June 9, 2010, his father Alfred in 1948, mother Ethel in 1992, brother Ronnie in infancy and brother Lawrence in 1996.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 12th at 11:00 am at the Peachland United Church, 4 Street, Peachland, BC with Reverend Elaine Diggle officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Okanagan Hospice Association
