GLADISH, Harold Lawrence

GLADISH, Harold Lawrence - Passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 4th, 2009 in Kelowna at the age of 86 years.

He is survived by his wife Arlene Gross; daughters Joanne(Graham) Swain and Hollie(Steven) Stacey; 2 granddaughters Carley Summers and Candace (Kris) Dean-Waters; 2 great grandsons Tolson and Jackson; stepchildren Lynn (Roger) Petersen and Brenda (Herman) Groen; step granddaughter Heather (Kerry) Clark; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Harold was predeceased by his first wife Joan; and 3 grandchildren Nicole, Christopher and Michael.

Harold was born in Jura, BC to Carl & Nellie Gladish, and grew up on the family dairy farm. He drove the dairy truck through the Princeton- Keremeos areas. Harold worked on many ranches and he loved the outdoors and riding horses. In 1939 he was the Pacific Northwest All Round Cowboy. Harold was a long time member of the Shriner
