“You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.”

Gertrud was predeceased by her husband Paul in 2006 and their daughter Monika Borchardt in 2009.

They will be lovingly remembered by their daughters: Barbara (Willi) Schonfeld, Rita (Jim) Shkrabuik, Rosemarie (Ray) Seifert. Also mourning are their nine grandchildren: Veronica (Dean) Ford, Brigitte Ebuchi, Carina (Dan) McCormick, Roland (Kellie) Schonfeld, Vanessa Shkrabuik, Michael Seifert, Cassandra Shkrabuik, Scott Seifert, Reanna Seifert; seven great grandchildren: Brian, Andrea, Serena, Emily, Isana, Evan, William and one great, great grandchild Kailyn.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Sutherland Hills Rest Home staff.

A celebration of their lives will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Springfield Funeral Home Family Centre, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC, with interment to follow in the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.
