Gwendy A Fleet

With great sadness our family announces the passing of Gwendy Fleet. She is survived by her loving husband Tom of 57 years; her children Barbara (Larry), Lori, Bill (Ellen); grandchildren: Abby, Kara, Tanner, Jessie, Michelle and Jamie; great grandchild: Kael. Sadly predeceased by daughter Leigh Ann. Gwendy was a life – long resident of Penticton. A graduate of the VGH School of Nursing in 1950 she worked as an RN at Penticton Hospital for 30 years; she volunteered her time as President of the local chapter of the Registered Nurses Association, the Penticton Retirement Center and was actively involved in the Presbyterian Church. Her family was a big part of Gwendys life. Celebration of Gwendy’s life will be held Monday August 25th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 157 West Wade Avenue, Penticton BC with Reverend Colin Cross officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Providence Funeral Homes.
