FRASER, Donald George

FRASER, Donald George

Born November 19, 1943.

Donald Fraser passed away peacefully in Kelowna, BC on September 18th, 2016.

A charming, kind, and family oriented man, he ensured that all that met him felt comfortable and welcome. Through his service, he gave his all to the communities he lived in and was a model of integrity from which others could find strength. He worked tirelessly to ensure that the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in society felt safe and that they belonged. An exceptionally articulate man with a ferocious appetite for learning, Don always made the world feel bigger and full of possibility.

Don is survived by his wife Leona, his sons Shane (Sherilyn) & Jordie, his best friends Sessie and Russ, his brother John (Sandy), his sisters Jean (Bobby), Nancy (Greg) and Margret (Frank), and extended family. Don was pre-deceased by his father, George, his mother, Nan, and his sister, Betty.

At his request, Don

    Leona and Family,

So sorry to hear of Don's passing. Although I did not know him well, I admired what I saw in his way of treating others and his obvious love of family. May you be comforted with family, friends, and precious memories.
