FOURNIER, Iris Marguerite

FOURNIER: Iris Marguerite . Iris passed away peacefully in the Kelowna Hospice House on January 10th, 2019 at the age of 84 years. Iris is survived by her son Stephen, three sisters Leona Arcand of Cornwall, ON; Olive Belisle of Ottawa ON and Arlene Robidoux of Toronto , ON, two brothers Lloyd (Eileen) of California, and Norman (Ethel) of Kelowna, BC and many nieces and nephews. Iris is predeceased by her husband Ronald Fournier in May 2017. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Charles Garnier Catholic Church, 3645 Benvoulin Road, Kelowna on Thursday, January 17th, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will take place in the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ALS of BC, 1233-13351 Commerce Parkway, Richmond, BC in memory of Iris. Stephen, we are sorry your mom has passed away, so soon after losing your dad. Iris was truly an angel, taking care of your father until his passing. They are together now, for eternity. Since we were united with your family, in 1987, we have shared many wonderful and happy memories. We truly appreciate the heartfelt inclusiveness they showed by welcoming us into the family fold. We will all miss her joyful and generous personality.

We were saddened to hear of your mom's passing. She was a wonderful lady and a true child of God. Both Iris and your dad worked very hard in their Catholic faith. Now they are both at peace in God's loving arms. We are sending our loving prayers to you and the rest of the family at this time. May God watch over you always.

Iris was a neighbour of ours at Mallards and will be missed. She often walked by and stopped to scratch our puppy Sammy's ear. She and Ron occasionally took him for walks, which he loved. We are so sorry for your loss.
