FERRIS, Thelma (nee Duckworth)

Born on August 31, 1923 in Victoria, BC and passed away on January 24, 2015 in Kelowna, BC at the age of 91. Survived by her loving family: daughter Pat Brager, son Bob Ferris (Rhena); grandchildren: Darrin, Kim, Sheri, Matthew and Amy; great grandchildren: Courtney, Brandon and Jesse and two great, great grandchildren Cora and Cali. Predeceased by her husband Fred Ferris and son-in-law Jim Oake. The family wishes to thank all the staff at Mountainview Village Care Complex for their kindness and support over the years. She will be laid to rest, next to her late husband Fred Ferris in a graveside service on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 12:30 pm at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery, 1991 Bernard Ave., Kelowna, BC.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Society, c/o Mountainview Village, 3070 Burtch Road, Kelowna, BC, V1W 5G2 or to the BC Alzheimer Society, Suite 307-1664 Richter Street, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 8N3.
