DUTZ, Doug - Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness with cancer on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the age of 70.

Survived by his loving wife Gloria of 49 and a half years, daughter Leanne (Carl) Busson of Langley, granddaughter Caitlin, son Gary (Natalie) of Kelowna, grandchildren Zane and Simone, his mother Gertie Dutz of Kelowna, his sister Donna (Gord) Cameron of Kelowna. Sadly predeceased by his father Henry.

Doug was well-known across the BC logging industry as a respected employer, boss and friend. He will be remembered for his humorous one-of-a-kind personality.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 1:00 pm at The Harvest Golf Course, 2725 KLO Road, Kelowna, BC.
