Condolence Messages

Dear Joan and family, our condolences. I have a lot of fond memories of Steve and our times together. He was gentleman, a good husband to Joan and a good father to all his kids. I will miss him a great deal. I have known Steve for over 70 years. We were in the same class in elementary school in Hungary. After grade 8 we took a different path in our education but we stayed in contact. Following the Revolution, we both left Hungary (not together) and lost contact for a few years. We met again in Vancouver at a service station by chance. After that it was easy to stay in contact. He was a life long friend and we had a lot of fun together.
    Love,
    Steve and Aldy Kristoffy

    Dear Joan & extended family,
Ruth an I loved Steve too. Since first meeting him in 1992 we had a friendship that included many great times together. Steve was first-class all the way, in everything he did. Steve had integrity , honesty, and compassion. Steve is the kind of guy I would want to be "my Grandpa". Although we didn't see both of you as often as we all would have liked Joan, you KNOW that both of you will always have a special place in our hearts. God Bless you both, see you on the 17th.

    Joan and family,
My wife Joyce and I first met Steve and Joan when we built and moved to Belcarra Estates, (upper Mission), Kelowna in 1991, where we were neighbours. Steve was a beautiful guy in all respects. One of the original "Good Ole Boys", at our monthly lunches, I will miss his quiet charm and sense of humour. So sorry Joan and family. My sincere condolences.

    Dear Joan & family,
I had the good fortune of meeting/reacquainting with Steve since Lynn & I retired to the Okanagan over 20 years ago. It was indeed a pleasure to belong to the "Old Boys monthly luncheon club" where Steve was a regular and keen participant. His sly wit, wisdom and relaxed manner will be missed but fondly remembered. A gentleman indeed.
    Our condolences,
