Claude, Brenton, Kelvin and family, Aunt Nellie was a pleasure to visit throughout my childhood allowing me to use the big telescope in the living room window and playing in the front yard. She will be greatly missed by our family, sorry for your loss.

Condolences to the family. Mrs. Drought was our neighbour in Lakeview on Thacker Drive. We would run and play through their property. Always a kind, beautiful family.

We were very happy to have known Nellie. A lovely, quiet lady who enjoyed walking to the stores in Lakeview. We were always happy to see her smiling face.

Aunt Nellie was a very special lady. I especially loved her big warm hugs! I remember fondly the summer I spent with the family! I was treated like one of her family. That warm welcome continued later when I would bring my family to the Okanagan to visit!! We will miss Aunt Nellie but she has left a legacy of love and hospitality and hearty laughter! Our sympathies and love to you Claude, Brent, and Kelvin and your families.

There is so much I could say about Mrs.Drought that it would fill page upon page. But I know that Kelvin, Claude and Brent are well aware of how I feel about her. So I'll be brief here and just say, love and happiness - that's what she brought to my life and to so many others.

    Best to all of you.

    Claude, Brenton, Kelvin and families,

Aunt Nellie was such a dear member of our family. I enjoyed many visits with her and your family as a child after we moved to the Okanagan, and as an adult niece when she would go camping with my Mom and Dad, as well as various family get-togethers. She will be missed by all of us who had the privilege and honour to know her and especially those of us who were related to her. We will hold her memory close in our hearts.

Love and hugs to you all.
