Maddy was a wonderful person to see first at the Bay Counter - she was always extremely helpful and pleasant with a wonderful smile. I miss seeing her there now when I come in at the back entrance. Sorry that you had to lose such a lovely person in your life. A Bay customer.

Fred, you and your wife were always so great to talk to and see at every one of our car shows. The Pontiac Club may be gone but many of us still talk and see each other. We all lost a great light in Maddie. Your loss is unmeasurable. If there is anything I can ever do to help you Fred let me know. Jonathan Mackee (Bob Bennett and Rich Jacobson told me about Maddie, I saw them at the Peachland car show yesterday we talked about you and Maddie for a good period of time).

We are so sorry to hear of Maddy's passing. I worked with Maddy for many years at the Bay and Maddy was the force behind all the Bay social functions. She was also a kind and caring lady who won't be forgotten. Fred, our condolences go out to you and all the family.

Fred, I am so sad to read this news today. I think of you and Maddie every day as I drive by your home on Clifton; the home where you welcomed me more as a friend than as a financial advisor. And the stories!! Whenever I was in Orchard Park, I'd always try to find Maddie in the Bay for a quick visit, just to brighten my day.

    My sincere condolences,

    Dennis Campbell

    Robert and family,

I am so truly sorry to hear of the passing of Maddie. I enjoyed seeing her over the years at the Bay and many times would wait for her in the line-ups so we could chat. For many years, the Bay had their Christmas Party at the Ramada and I enjoyed having them there also. I missed her when she retired and will certainly miss running into her now and again. I remember I wrote a piece about Maddie in my column about her long tenure at the Bay. She was one-of-a-kind. Personal condolences to you, your entire family and Maddie's many friends and colleagues.

How very sad to hear of Maddy's passing. She was one of the most gentle, kind women I have known. I worked at The Bay with her during the early 90's and ran into her about a year ago. It had been about 10 yrs since we had seen each other, but she still remembered me by my first name. She was always smiling.

RIP, Maddy. You will be missed.

Fred, we don't know you personally, but I worked at the Bay for 25 year and met Maddie there. She was one of the most friendly persons that one could ever meet. She spoke often of family 'gatherings', etc., hubby Fred, her horses and other pets. There is truly another star in heaven shining and waiting to greet family and friends.

Our thoughts and prayers go to you Fred and a great big hug from,

My condolences to Fred, Rosie, and the rest of the family. Madeline and I have been friends since we met in grade eight. She was one of the most consistently gentle, easy-going women I have known, and she was absolutely dedicated to Fred and her animals. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and working with her. I will be unable to attend the service, but will be thinking of you all at that time.

I am heart broken to hear of Maddie's passing. I knew her first as a client at Fairfield Animal Hospital and then as someone I considered a dear friend. Maddie loved all living creatures and took exceptional care of those around her. She always had a story to share, usually about her beloved cat or horse. She often spoke of her dear husband Fred and how much their cat, Crooky, adored him. I will miss her warmth, genuine smile and hugs. RIP and know that you touched my heart.
