DOUGLAS, Ruth Anne

DOUGLAS: Ruth Anne of Kelowna, passed away in the Central Okanagan Hospice House on February 16th, 2019 at the age of 80 years. Ruth is survived by her loving husband Gordon; son Buddy (Monica); five daughters Julie, Tracey (Kelly), Heidi, Donna (Brett) and Trish (Vince); nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and also her two brothers Don and John Robertson. Predeceased by two sisters Pat and Sharon. A Celebration of Ruth

Hello Gordon, sorry to hear about your best friend and companion of many years, passing away, it is a comfort to know that Ruth did not suffer a long period in time. Ruth will be missed by you and her family but will always be remembered in our hearts. Since moving to Kelowna 11 years ago, Ruth and Gordon have been dear friends that we enjoyed many wonderful occasions with, including our regular dance nights at the Legion. Ruth's passing leaves us with great sadness and we are grateful for the visits we enjoyed with her during her last days. She was surrounded by the love of family during her last days. Ruth will be in our memories forever. Rest in peace, Ruth. Peggy and I offer our heartfelt condolences to Gordon and their children.
