DIMMICK, Katherine Ann

Katherine Ann Dimmick (Nee Cooke) aged 67 passed away peacefully on May 12, 2018 after a brief struggle with cancer. Katherine was born July 1, 1950 in Enderby, BC.

She is survived by her husband Michael of 40 years and their children: Dave (Amber), Devin (Melissa), Dana (Erik) and grandson Edward. She is predeceased by her mother and father, Marion and Edwin Cooke.

She enjoyed a loving childhood on the family homestead with siblings Gordon, Nancy and Rob. Kathy was incredibly active in the community, participating in too many groups to list and touched many people with a simple word or smile. Over the span of a lifetime, she retained the title of Master Corporal in the BC Dragoons, Licensed Insurance Agent, Certified Dental Hygienist, and Special Education Assistant with Autism and Braille training.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Riverside Community Hall. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family at www.MyAlternatives.ca.
