    Lise, Robert, Patrick, and Rebecca;

    I am so sorry to hear about Karl passing. I don't know if there was a person I have met that was as upbeat, funny, and willing to help out with anything like Karl. The silly little pranks we played on each at work and his infectious silliness helped many of us get through the day. He worked hard and put everything into the things he did; and I know that if anyone ever needed help Karl was always there. Truly blessed to have know him.

    I was so shocked to read this and am so very sorry for your loss. My mom could have throttled him back in the days of high school but secretly got a kick out of both Karl and John. My sympathies to you all, sis. (Sue Cmolik)

    To Lise and children I'm so sorry to hear the news that night my daughter called. I remember Karl water skiing, snowmobiling or just goofing around on the patio. He meant so much to my family the Paveys. The dinners we shared, lots of great memories will continue to bring smiles to us for years I'm sure. One memory I'll not forget too soon that makes me smile I'll share with you when I see you it's about the paint job. He loved to do good deeds. My friend and I prayed for Karl sometimes he was on our hearts. You will too we will keep you in our prayers May God keep you in his arms and give you peace.

    Dear Lise and family. Our deepest condolences. We are so saddened to hear that Karl has passed away. He certainly was an amazing man. My brother had PSP and I know how devasting it is seeing the person you know and love completely change and everything else these diseases do to them. My heart truly goes out to you. For those who don't know much if anything about these diseases, I ask them to read about them and spread awareness. Also seeing what my sister-in-law went through as a wife and caregiver (and the struggles getting help for someone who is "too young" to fit the profile), it takes an amazing strong woman and family, which Karl was blessed to have in you. Sending lots love and hugs.

    Lise and family, from one of his BCD buddies, my condolences for your loss. He and I decided to call each other Schroeder over the radio during the numerous weekend exercises we endured! To confuse the matter we used an accent. No one could ever figure out who Schroeder was and who the other Schroeder was. That is only one example of our antics. There were many!! Krazy Karl indeed, he was the King of Antics. Karl made the many days and nights in the boonies on exercise bearable. Lise, Karl was a good friend and I am glad I was lucky enough to have known him.

    Karl, bless you in your new rest area.

    John Dierdorf and family, I had the pleasure to go to school with Karl and he inspired me and many other kids to Join the gym. Karl was a solid down to earth guy that always laughed and had loads of fun no matter where he was. I can close my eyes and here him still. Sad day for your loss, he will be missed but never forgotten.

    RIP my friend.
