Larry Allan Derrickson Sr. passed away peacefully at home on August 1, 2018 at the age of 63. He is survived by his loving wife Jo-Ann; children Angie, Krista and Larry Jr.; siblings Deanna (Barrie) Hamilton; Rose (Lorne) Lube, Bonnie Thompson, Dave (Deb) Derickson, Marion (Mike) Radawetz. He was predeceased by his father Dave Derickson; mother Mary Derickson, brother-in-law Gary Thompson, sister Linda Hohn, brother-in-law Herman Hohn.
A living Celebration of Life with Larry was held on Saturday July 28, 2018.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC with Claire Jantzen officiating.

  Jo-Ann and family, I am saddened to hear of Larry's passing. Although we never saw each other often it was always with with pleasure. Larry and I went way back to elementary school where we always hung out and played together lots. I will miss his smile and his laugh. My sincere condolences. He will be missed by all.

  Sincere condolences to Jo-Ann and family. Please know that I practice the traditional way of acknowledging my 1st cousins as cousin brothers/sisters so your mother in-law, is my first cousin, making her children my nieces and nephews. Although I do not know you all well, I have kept track of you because of our connection and the fact that I loved Mary and her mom, my aunt Sarah very much.
