It is with saddened hearts that we announce that Susan Crum (nee Windle) passed away peacefully on December 1, 2017 with her 3 daughters by her side.

Sue is predeceased by her mother Marion Windle in 1997.

She is survived by her husband Roy “Rockie”; daughters Kim Taschuk (Darrel), Karen (Bill) Tasker, and Kristi Novakowsky; 6 grandchildren: Cody, Tiffany, Chelsea, Daniel, Shelby, and Savannah; 2 great grandchildren Beckem and Addison; her father Mike Windle; brothers and sisters: Maureen, Mike (Sharon), Mark (Josee), Tim (Barb), Kathy (Bruce), Steve (Cindy), Sheilagh (Rob), and Pat.

Mom was loved by her family, friends, and all those whom she touched.

“Mom, we all love you to the moon & back.”

And in your words, “It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later.”

A celebration of life will be planned for the spring of 2018 in Kelowna. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sue’s memory to the SPCA, 3785 Casorso Road, Kelowna, BC V1W 4M7 (www.spca.bc.ca) would be appreciated.

    Condolences to you all on the lost of Sue. I had not been in touch for awhile but have happy memories of sharing some time and food with her and Maureen in past years and know she was a treasure.
