CRAIK, Justin

Born June 24th, 1991 in Kelowna, BC. Passed away May 13, 2011.

Justin was the son of Karen Craik and Mike Gannon. He went to school in Kelowna at Rutland Secondary School. His friends Brad, C.J., Anthony were supportive as they spent time a lot of time together.

While Justin resided in Kelowna he spent a lot of time with his friends, skateboarding, playing video games, and watching the Canucks play. He was a huge Canucks fan and rarely missed a game on TV. His passion was to play Halo 2 on the computer and was well respected in the on-line gaming community as a top player. His dream was to enter into competitions to show his prowess.

Justin is survived by his beloved mother, Karen Craik, of Kelowna; his father, Mike Gannon, of Kelowna, his aunts Gail and Josanne, his cousins Bryden, Trixie, Tanji, Jovi, Craig and Jaska. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. The family is deeply grieved at the passing of Justin. He will be remembered for his sense of humour, gentleness and sensitivity. His unique qualities will be sorely missed. We are sure he will be with Jesus whom he loves.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28th, 2011, at Immaculate Conception Parish, 839 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna, BC. Memorial donations may be made to the Immaculate Conception Parish, Save a Family Plan or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
