    To the Cole Family,

I learned a great deal from Dan when we worked together at Shannon Lake Elem. He made the learning journey for the children within his care, one that they truly treasured. I missed his wit, his firm convictions and his integrity the minute he left my classroom. Really, no one was a better person. He will be deeply missed. My condolences to you all.

My heart couldn't be heavier.... My cousin, whom I was so close in age to, was an amazing human being. We attempted and accomplished so many ridiculous things as children and young adults, and those are memories that will last forever! Whether we were playing sports, like basketball or baseball, hanging out playing hack, horseshoes, cliff diving (mud jumping), tree swinging, swimming, listening to music, writing music, or one of many Daniels hobbies or skills, one thing was constant, he was incredibly good at everything!! It was always hard to keep up. Love him, Love you.

Dear Shelley and Guy - I'm sooo sorry for your loss. It's so sad when one loses a family member - or anyone else. I'm sure it's absolutely terrible when you lose a child. But I've heard, and read, so many wonderful things about Daniel that, while no consolation, will leave you very precious memories. Sincerely ...Brian Harms

My sincere condolences to Dan's family. I worked with Dan at BMO and have never forgot his friendliness and our good little chats. We crossed paths last fall at an Arion Therapeutic Farm fundraiser. I hadn't seen him in quite a while and we hugged and visited. He was a great guy. R.I.P. Dan. Thank you for that hug that day. I will never forget it.

I was heartbroken to hear of Dan's passing. We lost touch out of school, but were close through elementary and high school. He always had a pop in his step, and was good for a laugh. My sincerest condolences to your family.
