COLBECK, Florence Kathleen

On Saturday, July 19, 2014, a grand lady quietly slipped away leaving a large family and many friends. Florence leaves behind her brothers Dick, Jim and Bob, daughter Wendy, son Peter and his wife Nanci, grandson Jason and partner Simonette and great grandson, Jaoquin.

Born December 18, 1914, Florence was the only daughter of Fred and Edna Beairsto, raised with seven brothers in Sedgewick, Alberta. After being educated in Alberta and California, Florence moved to Vancouver where she married Garth Colbeck in 1939. During the Second WW her husband and four brothers join the services, resulting in the loss of brothers Carl and Frank. Florence and Peter went
