CLARK, Kenneth Wesley

Kenneth Wesley Clark

On November 26, 2010 the world lost a gentle, generous soul. Kenneth Wesley Clark, born February 17, 1928, formerly of Salmon Arm, Victoria, and Edmonton, passed peacefully in Kelowna with his family by his side.

Missing him more than words could ever express is his wife, best friend, and soul-mate Joan. For more than 58 years they were always together and could often be seen strolling the wharf in Salmon Arm hand in hand, matching Tilley hats and all. His two daughters, Laurey Irene and Leslie Grace, will forever miss his soft spoken wisdom and unfailing generosity. His beloved grandchildren, Aaron Wesley, Danica Joan, and Blake Justus will forever treasure his stories, especially his proudest accomplishment of winning the Governor Generals Medal in Grade Nine.

Kenneth was the second of five sons born to Lawrence Wesley and Mildred Grace in Erskine Alberta. Finances were his forte and his 30 year career as a Financial Analyst with Imperial Oil also led him to do the books for his church and numerous strata associations. He was always the go to guy for help with crossword puzzles and Scrabble words, until unfortunately the ravages of Alzheimers took its hold. Even when he was unable to communicate his thoughts, his smile and infectious chuckle were always present and we will miss that so much.

A private family celebration of his life will take place in Salmon Arm in the spring. If so desired, donations to any charity related to helping children would please Dad.
