CHUDYK, Colette Marie

Colette was born March 20th, 1966 in Edmonton AB and passed away after a long strong battle with Leukemia on Monday October 8th 2018, in Vernon BC.

Colette is survived by her husband Terry Chudyk, her two children Garner and Stephanie Chudyk and her two step daughters, Cassandra Ting and Katrina Chudyk; two grandchildren Alyssa and Brendan Ting; Her Brother, James Burrows (Nicole), her mother in law Barbara Chudyk. She was predeceased by her Father and Mother, Allan and Gisele Burrows; and her birthmother Karen Morris.

Colette is remembered by her amazing spirit, her love of life and ability to welcome everything with open arms. She embraced and fought cancer with a positive attitude and with every set back she would never waiver. She was also well known for her love of Slo-Pitch, she was always seen pitching for many teams. She loved animals of all sorts except for snakes. She will be dearly missed by all the lives that she has touched.

As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations, in memory of Colette to the Honour House Society, 509 St. George Street, New Westminster BC V3L 1L1. They gave Colette a home away from home when doing treatment for the last 2 years.

The Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Vernon Military Camp, G20 Building, 1275 Mission Road Vernon BC at 1:00pm. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family at www.MyAlternatives.ca.
