CHAPIN, Harry

With deep sadness we announce the passing of Harry Chapin at the age of 85 at the Kelowna General Hospital.

Harry was born in Senlac, Saskatchewan and is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Ellen "Helen". He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ellen; son, Garry (wife, Sharon); grandsons, Jason and Kevin; great-granddaughter, Dilyn; and sister, Edith. Sadly predeceased by daughters, Gail and Shelly; brothers, George and Jack.

Harry spent many years working with the RCMP, and also with the Federal Government Archives and Record Centres. He enjoyed many years with friends and family in Yuma, Arizona and at Shuswap Lake.

A special thanks to Dr. J. McIntosh and his staff, and also to the staff at KGH.

A celebration of Harry's life will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Everden Rust Funeral Services, 1910 Windsor Road, Kelowna (250) 860-6440.
