CASALI, Egilia (Mama)
June 2, 1922 - March 31, 2011.

Egilia passed away peacefully on March 31 at the age of 88 years in Kelowna, BC.

Egilia will be lovingly remembered by her sons Adriano (Josiane) and Gianetto (Maddalena), daughter Isolina (Adriano), her grandchildren Duilio (Zulema), Tony (Amber), Mario, Thierry, Chantal (Tate), Diana (Allen), 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews back home in Italy. Egilia was predeceased by her husband Achille in 1976.

Egilia (Mama) had many passions in life but the two she will be most remembered by was her love for all children and her talents in the kitchen as a chef.

A Prayer Service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna on Tuesday, April 5th, 2011 at 1:00 PM.

A prayer service will be held for Egilia on Thursday April 7, 2011 at 8:00 pm at Santa Maria Goretti Church, 9110 - 110 Ave, Edmonton Alberta. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday April 8, 2011 at 10:00 am at Santa Maria Goretti, with Father James Chitteth as Celebrant.

Internment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Albert and NWT, 10531 Kingsway Avenue Edmonton Alberta T5H 4K1.
