CAPOZZI, Cascia Anne

Cascia Anne Capozzi December 5, 1959 - January 19th, 2018

We lost our beloved Cascia when she was tragically taken from us on January 19th, 2018.

Cascia was born and raised in Kelowna. She also spent many years in Revelstoke while married to Horst Schwarzer and although the marriage ended, they remained great friends forever. Cas then spent the remaining of her life in Cabo San Lucas.

Our beautiful Cas was so naturally artistic, athletic, and witty. She always had a playful approach to life, scootering everywhere she went. Most importantly, her heart was kind, loving and generous. The people who loved her saw her special glow.

Cascia is our sister, our friend, and mother to Tiffany Julianne (Ixara) Neilson.

We believe heaven is where Cas will truly feel free to fly, it is where she will be forever happy and whole. She will be instantly adored for her beautiful aura, eye for mischief, and infectious charm.

I just found out about Cascia this evening. I had many happy days with Cascia in high school. She would always come over just before a math exam to go over the material and loved coming into the house with my mom just pulling out a pan of cookies. I loved Cassia, her free spirit! She loved everyone! We met in the late 80's before I was an Ensign. Cassia was strong, wise beyond her age, reckless with endeavor and a true Sager. She rolled with the punches and believed in Karma always longing for happiness and fun. What a pleasure to have her in your company, never a dull moment! So sad to hear this news. My memories of Cascia go back to elementary & high school days as well as spending time at the Capozzi 'homestead' in between. Cascia was incredibly down to earth, who had a wicked sense of humour and who's smile lit up a room. I wish you peace. Condolences to all of the family.

Cascia was known for her gentle, loving heart and amazing artistic talent. She will also be remembered for her daughter, Tiffany, who is a loving, caring person because of her mother.

So very devastated to learn that Cascia has left us. The last time that I saw her was in Kelowna in her little house by the creek, full of her artistic works. I babysat her in the house on the lake.
