CAMERON, Angus Albert

CAMERON, Angus Albert

March 12, 1941 – January 18, 2018
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Angus Albert Cameron on January 18, 2018. Predeceased by his loving wife of 45 years, Anne in April 2013, Angus is survived by his son Christopher and daughter, Jill (Daniel). Originally from Port Arthur, ON, Angus and Anne moved west in the 1970s and finally to West Kelowna in 1978. Embracing all life had to offer, we will remember him for his many obsessions: his love of fly fishing, playing his bag pipes, camping, skiing and participating in conservation organizations.
Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Village at Smith Creek for the care and support Dad received during his time there and we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to either the Alzheimer Foundation or a local conservation group.
Please join us for a celebration of his life on Sunday, February 25 at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.springfieldfuneralhome.com.

Hello Jill and family, we were saddened to hear about Angus, he and Jon did a great many fishing and skiing adventures together and we all had fun on our camping trips with Anne and Angus. We are sorry we can't attend the memorial as we will be in the Galapagos. Hugs to you Jill, in this difficult time.

Regards and condolences to the family of Angus Cameron. We shared many good days of travelling out to mountain lakes to go fly fishing and have many good fishing stories from time we spent with him. We will miss his presence.
