BURNHAM, Lorna Maxine

BURNHAM, Lorna Maxine

We are heart broken to announce the peaceful passing of Lorna Maxine Burnham on October 5, 2017. Lorna was born the second of four beautiful daughters on January two-two, 1938 to Len and Jackie Gray in Vancouver BC.

She married the love of her life, Dennis Burnham, in Kamloops on July 2, 1960. She will be greatly missed by her husband Dennis of 57 years, her daughter Jill (Marten), her grandchildren; Shelby (Karl) and Scott (Katherine), her great-grandchildren; Brynnlin, Everley, Ellianne and Kruz, her only remaining sister Lorraine (Jack) and many nieces and nephews. Lorna was sadly predeceased by her son Barry and two sisters Linda Jean and Judy.

Lorna had many adventures in her life. She spent many wonderful years golfing, camping, more golfing, motorcycle trips, and even more golfing. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. The thing we will remember the most about her was her never ending, unconditional love for her family. We love you Mom, Gramma-lama and we will remember you always.

We would like to invite our family and friends to Marten and Jill

Dennis, Jill and family. We were sorry to hear of Lorna's passing. We remember her fondly. We had many good times together, snowmobiling with lots of New Years up at the cabin. Of course her favorite thing was golf. Our thoughts are with you Dennis and your family.

Dennis and family; I am so sorry for your loss. I have wonderful memories of past with Lorna. She always made me laugh with some of her stories. Truly dedicated to her family, and I remember how she loved to golf. I still have some of her hand written recipes she would bring in and share with me. Obviously a terrific cook! My sincere condolences to all of you. I'm not able to attend on Saturday, but I will have an adult beverage that day, and raise my glass to her legacy for sure.
