BRYAN WILLIAM, Stinn

BRYAN WILLIAM, Stinn

In Loving Memory of Bryan William Stinn. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at Vernon Jubilee Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Calgary, Alberta to John and Kate Stinn, the youngest of 13. Bryan moved to Vernon at the age of 2.
Bryan is survived by his wife Pauline and children Brad (Laurie) Stinn, Katrina (Preston) Redgwell and Jarrod Stinn (Jessie); his grandchildren Kaylee and Myah Stinn, Isaac and Jacob Redgwell, and Cassidy Lavigne and Jovie Stinn all of Vernon. He also leaves behind numerous family and friends.
He spent much of his youth between the family dairy farm and the Green Timbers auto court. He had many exciting jobs, travelled around the world and raced snowmobiles before settling down and buying a farm in Okanagan Landing. After obtaining his carpentry ticket, he established Landing Construction Ltd. He built 100s of homes and prominent buildings throughout the valley including Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Coldstream Municipal Hall and Clock Tower, and the Royal Oak subdivision. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, children and grandchildren.
Bryan will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his commitment to hard work and devotion to his family. He always had a story to tell and could strike up a conversation with anyone. In any situation he had the knowledge and solution and could supervise you through it.

Prayers will be recited at St. James Catholic Church on Tuesday November 7, 2017 at 5:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church on Wednesday November 8 at 10:30 am with Reverend Father Peter Nguyen celebrant.
A Reception will follow in the St. James Parish Centre.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ken Perrier and Dr. Ed Hardy and his team for such good care and giving us more time with Bryan.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Bryan to the McMurty-Baerg Cancer Centre 2101 32nd St. Vernon, B.C. V1T 5L2.
