Uncle Norman was such a sweet, generous, and happy go lucky fellow. He always cared so much for his family and loved to interact with the youngsters. Always a gentleman he was young at heart in attitude and appearance, I loved his warm smile with the twinkle in his eyes!! He taught me how to whistle when I was 5, and let me steer his tractor on the family farm. Those memories will always stay with me along with many more pleasant memories of my dear Uncle Norman. As much as he will now be missed I believe he is already planning his next adventure with his life long best friend and brother Uncle Orville. I will love and remember him always. Rest in peace Uncle Norman, with love from Lori, Tim and family, xo

Uncle Norman was an extremely kind soul, with a smile that inspired. I will cherish the hours spent on the golf course with him and Poppa (George Galigan), and I am still using Uncle Orville's clubs to this day. Condolences to everyone in the family, and those blessed by his wisdom and friendship.

Uncle Norman was a kind and generous man who truly loved having his family around him. We also loved being with him. The many breakfasts at Sunrise Village and A&W were always lots of fun and laughs. Uncle Norman and Uncle Orville went south every winter as long as their health allowed them to do so. Many family members would join them when it was convenient to do so, my Dad, sisters and I being some of them. We always had a great time and lots of laughs.

Uncle Norman, you will be truly missed and forever loved.

Love from Sylvia & Fred Swetitch & girls

A very kind, wonderful and gentle man, my deepest sympathy to all.

Norman was a neighbour and good friend to us in Sunrise Village for many years, we sure missed him when he had to move.

Whenever I spoke to Norm he was always upbeat, never had a cross word to say about anyone, always made me smile and never turned down a hug, usually asking for a second one. It was great to see him reserve a large table for the pancake breakfast and see family gather in merriment around him. I missed him when he left SRV, but am happy that he is in a place where there is no pain and his legs will take him dancing.
