With sadness, we announce the death of our devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Leta Brown of Kelowna, BC who died of cancer on Saturday, May 28, 2017 at the age of 84.
Survived by 2 sons, 1 daughter, 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren: Ken (Lorrie) Brown of Kelowna, BC, Daphne (Adrian) Panylyk of Kelowna, BC, and Donald Brown of Victoria, BC; grandchildren Chalsey (Greg) Stevens, Zachary (Jen) Panylyk and Abby Brown; great-grandchildren Viktoriya Stevens and Baby Boy Stevens. Predeceased by her husband Leslie George Brown on October 14, 2001. Leta's devotion to family and marriage took her across all the western provinces and retiring to the Okanagan. Leta lived her life in the present day, independent and with interest. She had integrity, dignity and always a kind positive word for everyone. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the many health care workers at Kelowna General hospital and Central Okanagan Hospice House. A private graveside service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Society www.cancer.ca.

    I will miss you, my dear friend. I have many great memories of our little trips together and the fun we had. I will think of you every time I have coffee at Blenz. My thoughts are with you, Daphne and family, and we will miss your dear Mom at Sandalwoood.
