I send my deepest sympathy and profound sense of loss over learning of Geoff's passing. Geoff was a colleague, friend, mentor and inspiration to me as a professional engineer. He held himself and all others around him, to the highest professional, ethical and moral standards in every decision he made. And let let me say, as leader of Canadian Airlines Quality system, he was called upon to make many.

It is a sad loss for us all. Geoff will be missed.
