Dear Lorenz,Stefan and Ingrid, I am so sorry for responding so late. I didn’t know that Anita had passed away. I grew up with Anita. My family grew up on Devonshire. I absolutely loved Anita. She was one of my dearest childhood friends. I have so many childhood memories coming back to me right now. We were always having all sorts of adventures going on everyday. I remember eating at your wonderful family’s table and playing in that little park between us. I remember her breaking her arm that day on the monkey bars. It was such a bad break. I remember all the times playing in the creek. God Kelowna was different then. I hope life is good to you all. I’m so saddened for your loss. I hope you all are well.

    Dear Ingrid, Stefan and Lorenz,

I was so very sorry to hear that your sister Anita has passed away. She was a big part of my childhood as part of the Pacific Avenue gang! She was so outgoing, fun and adventurous - and we had a lot of fun together! Our paths in life diverged and we lost contact with each other, but I thought of her often with fondness and wished life could have been a little easier for her.

Thinking of each of you as you mourn her loss,

    Wendy (Gray) Fraser

I'm so sad to hear of Anita's passing. We were buddies in our very early years on Pacific Avenue but lost track of each other when I moved to the West Side in 1967. I remember her as a beautiful funny young girl - I'll treasure her memory forever.
