I wish to thank those of you who have left a message for us. Rodney was a special man and he has been dearly missed. Each and every one of you have provided me with strength. I go over your words of condolences and think of how a stranger can see what my husband held in his heart-just through his eyes. Thank you Linda for making a difference in Rodney's stay at SCCU. I appreciate each and every message, thank you all for taking the time to write.

I always go over the Obits to make sure there's no one I knew/know. Seeing the lovely smile and young eyes in your hubby's photo had me captured to read his obituary. And as I reached the last sentence I used the last Kleenex in the box. Your family was truly blessed to be touched by such a man. And for those of us still searching for that one love of our life, you give hope that the miracle of love is still possible. May your hearts have peace and comfort as you hold onto such wonderful memories.

I did not know Rodney well but I did have the privilege of being his nurse for a short period while he was in SCCU. I witnessed with my own eyes the love and devotion he had for you and his little princess. I am very saddened to see that he has lost his earthly battle but you and your children are so fortunate to have such a beautiful Gaurdian Angel. My deepest sympathies for your loss.

The joy your husband brought you shines through in your words...how blessed you are! He sounds like he was a unique and amazing man, and that you and he were, indeed, soul mates.

I have never met you but that was the most beautiful obituary I have ever read. Your husband must have been an amazing man.
