BISHEIMER, Margaret Mary

Margaret Mary Bisheimer, born March 23, 1937 in Perth, ON, joined our Lord on February 14, 2020 in Kelowna, BC. She is survived by her son Otto Bisheimer; daughters Justine Bisheimer, Katrina Bisheimer and her life partner Judd Esty-Kendall of Bucksport, Maine, and Theresa Jean DegGiano - AKA Tina Marie Beadle; granddaughters Twyla Nicholson, Elisha Bisheimer, and Sara Derman; grandson Cory Hunter; along with many cousins and friends.

Special thanks to many: Katrina Bisheimer for her care as a nurse and loving daughter to her mother Margaret; other family members and friends for love and support; and Mission Creek Landing Elderly Care Home for making Margaret feel special and helping in taking excellent care of Margaret in the last year of her life.

Margaret attended Mount Royal College of Calgary, AB where she accomplished a Diploma in Correctional Careers. Margaret devoted her life work to Child Protection, Woods Christian Homes, Youville Memorial Residence for Woman, and several years of personal Care Aide.

Margaret enjoyed playing the card game Golf with her daughter Katrina and playing Eucre with her son Otto, daughter Justine, and cousins Steve and Wenda. Margaret enjoyed bowling and bingo with her son Otto and many trips with her daughters and granddaughters. Margaret walked every day that she was able, she said that everyone should get out and get fresh air. Margaret loved to dance, and sing, and will always be missed dearly. An angel’s work is never done - from your son Otto.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 4:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.     Marla and I are saddened to hear of Margaret's passing. She was a shining light, and we always welcomed the chance to share some time with her, and watch her face light up with joy when the dogs would greet her. We are thinking of you all at this difficult time.
