BEREZANSKY, Azor John
March 4, 1937 to March 18, 2011

Azor John (Ez) Berezansky passed away peacefully at the Kelowna Hospice on Friday, March 18, 2011 in Kelowna, BC at the age of 74 years.

He is survived and is deeply missed by his wife Terry, children: Anthony Berezansky (Bernadette), Cynthia Broadhurst, Catherine Murphy (Sean), Daniel Berezansky, and Veronica Berezansky (David); grandchildren: Rebecca, Amanda, Jessie, Christopher, Jennifer, Michael, Nicole, Megan and great grandson Jesse Preston; siblings: Victor Berezan (Jenny), Oryst Berezan (Zennie), Iris Tigner (Jim), and Cecile Huitema (Chris).
Predeceased by his Mother and Father, Catherine and Samuel, daughter Valerie, and wife & mother of his children, Delores.

Ez always had a great appreciation of nature, which he passed on to his children. Ez loved to hike and walk in the woods and forests. When he first moved to Kelowna, he enjoyed his ritual of taking his cherished dog(s) on a daily trek up Mount Boucherie. Ez revealed great artistic talent in all of his projects, whether it be building a rock wall, creating a stained glass lamp, planting a garden, or painting his home. Ez enjoyed playing golf and watching sports in his later years. He came to deeply appreciate his Catholic faith in the last 30 years and was at peace in his last few months. His spiritual faith gave him great comfort and clarity.

A service and celebration of life will be held at the Roman Catholic Parish of St. Pius, 1077 Fuller Avenue, Kelowna, BC on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. followed by refreshments in the Church Hall.
