BEALBY,  Eric

Eric Ronald Bealby (VE7 DMH -Ham call sign) who was born in Nelson, BC July 27, 1949 passed away peacefully in Kelowna in the presence of his beloved wife Barbara on September 29, 2017 at the age of 68. No service by request.

"Time may change a lot of things in our lives; but one thing it can never change is the way I feel about you, for eternity" - love Barbara.

    To my Step Dad Eric..As I see this Incredibly touching picture of you years ago..holding my newborn son Brandon in your arms. My family did not mention us ( your 4 step children) 3 step sons ( Scott, Michael, Andrew) and a step daughter (Rachel)..I miss you so much as does your Grandson now turning 18 years old this month! Seems just like yesterday you came into my room at the hospital while you were working security with the Commissioner's. Making sure I was taken care of..You were so special and caring, we miss you dearly..Ryan, Rachel, and your Grandson Brandon xoxoxo

    Eric was one of the most friendly, easy going guys I knew. Always happy to see him at coffee time and meetings and chat about anything. He had more radio equipment than most stores I've been in.

    He left us too soon.

    So sad to hear Eric passed on. I worked with him for many years and found him to be a warm caring individual who was always pleasant and happy.

    Eric was a loyal customer of ours for many years at Mcleans Cafe every Saturday with the Ham radio guys.; a pop and carrot cake every Saturday for Eric!! So very sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

    Barb, words cannot express the sorrow I feel for you and family. Eric was a friend and mentor for many years. He will be remembered for his awesome knowledge of Amateur Radio equipment. A good Ham Buddy, may he now Rest in peace. Will miss him at our coffee meetings.
