BARNARD, Charles

BARNARD, Charles (Chuck) - Long time resident of Westbank, BC passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at the age of 88 years.

Chuck was born March 19, 1919 in Jasmin, Saskatchewan. He went overseas and served during the Second World War alongside his two brothers. Upon his return Chuck married his first wife Catherine in Vernon, BC. In 1958 they moved to Westbank where he was employed with BC Hydro and also operated his own orchard.

Chuck was predeceased by his first wife, Catherine, second wife Laura, daughter, Joyce, and granddaughter Pamela.

He is survived by his son, Lindsay (Keirsten), grandchildren, Carolyn, David, Shannon and Meaghan, and son-in-law, Colin (Karine).

Funeral service will be held in the chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, Monday, February 25, 2008 at 2:00 P.M.
