Diane Barkwill (Nee Todd)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Barkwill, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, auntie, and dear friend.
Diane passed away in peace on Friday January 19, 2018 in her seventieth year. Diane will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Julie (Jody), granddaughter Nicole; daughter Jennifer (Greg) and grandsons Brandon (Kaityln) and Brett; good friend and ex-husband Rodger and grandsons David, Luke, and Cody. Diane was predeceased by her daughters Sharon and Clelie, son in law Jody and her parents Ruth and Lorne. Diane leaves to mourn her untimely passing, sister Arlene (Erich) nieces Christine and great niece Lynne Ashley, nephew Gil ( Akiko); sister Michele (Peter); brother Jeff (Patricia) nephew Joel, great nephew Dominic; niece Shelley (Cam); niece Leah (Aaron) great niece Payton and great nephew Taylor. Diane will be forever missed by her beloved and indispensable best friend Elaine Giles, and best and forever friend Jen McGavin, and many, many friends and extended family members whose lives she touched in her unique and loving way.
Diane leaves as her legacy, her unconditional love and care to her family and all creatures. Her humour and intelligence, her critical thinking and philosophical leanings, her great love of music and books of all kinds and above all her kindness, patience and humanity. Diane we have loved being a part of your life and will never forget the irreplaceable and sweet presence of your being - always.
