BAL, Gurmit Kaur - Passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at the age of 81.

Survived by her son Chanchal (Barb) of Kelowna, daughter-in-law Rani Bal of Kamloops, grandchildren Sukhpaul, Mandeep, Davinder, Dilraj, Diljot, Daljit as well as a large extended family. Sadly predeceased by a son Avtar Singh Bal, and her husband Mohinder Singh Bal.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC with a Prayer Service to follow at the Okanagan Sikh Temple, 1101 Rutland Road North, Kelowna, BC.

Should family and friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation, 2268 Pandosy Street, Kelowna, BC V1Y 1T2.
