BAIRD, James Norman
March 29, 1919 – June 22, 2011

Passed away peacefully at Spring Valley Care Home on June 22, 2011 at the age of 92. Born in Lumsden, Saskatchewan on March 29, 1919.

Predeceased by his parents James and Carrie Baird; brother John; sisters Mary Bladon and Fannie Harvey.

Norman served five years overseas in WWII and then put his hand to a variety of businesses in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC, which added up to a very interesting life.

Norman will be sadly missed by his wife of 63 years, Mona; two sons: Bob and Doug; four grandchildren: Dana, Keri (Kyle), Dustin (Whitney), Anita; two great granddaughters: Maleah and Olivia; sister Annie Hagerty, of Moose Jaw; many nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

We sincerely thank all the staff at Spring Valley Care Home for their kind and special treatment of Norman in the last seven months.

There will be no service at Norman’s request. Flowers and donations are gratefully declined.
