Obituaries

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Victor Adelarde Aube on Monday October 18, 2021 in Vernon B.C. at the age of 87 after a short battle with cancer.

Vic was born on August 5, 1934 in Saskatchewan to Goldie and Moose Aube on the old homestead. On May 3, 1958 in Rocky Mountain House AB. he married the love of his life Roberta May Fletcher. They raised two sons and two daughters.

In 1971 they moved the family to Enderby B.C. where Vic started working for Riverside Forest Products where he worked until his retirement in 1999. Shortly thereafter he became an active and loyal member of the Enderby Lions Club and dedicated much of his time helping others. Vic had the precious gift of making everyone feel welcomed; he always had a story to tell or a joke to be told.

Vic was preceded in death by his father Moose and his mother Goldie and his sister Eva (Lloyd). He is survived by his wife of 63 years Bertie, his four children Rene (Brigitte), Maurice (Sue), Michelle, Yvonne (Allen) and his pride and joy nine grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild due in December
He will be missed everyday but never forgotten.

We will honour his memory with a Celebration of Life in the spring and lay him to rest with his family at the Cliffside Cemetery.
