ATKINS, Lorne (Lorie) - Of 100 Mile House BC passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 20, 2011 at the age of 76 years.

Lorie will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years Diane, children Spencer (Bev) of Williams Lake BC, Bill (Deanne) of Grande Prairie Alta, Lori (Larry) Henderson of Lac la Hache BC, Donna (Greg) Borchert of Mission BC, grandchildren: Erin (Richard) Duff, Brian (Tammi) Henderson, Haley and Kyla Borchert and great grandchildren Hannah and Nolan Duff as well as brother Gerry (Glenda) Atkins and sister Fran Devos. He was sadly predeceased by parents Harris and Kathleen and brothers Dick and Jack.

Lorie’s first priority was his family however he was an avid gardener and will be remembered for his impeccable yard. Lorie retired several years ago from Canada Safeway where he worked as the Produce Manager in Williams Lake. No service will be held at the request of the family.
