Mrs. Ashley will be missed. She was a very good family friend. She was respectful, passionate about life, interesting and beautiful person. She helped so many people over the years both students and friends. She had a huge impact on my life and was proud of every one's accomplishments. I am so proud to have known her and learnt many a thing from her. The first time I had Yorkshire pudding was at her house and every time I have now she comes into my mind. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sorry to hear of your mom's passing, Brian. I fondly remember our 'hallway discussions' at Martin Elementary in the late 70's and early 80's. We would compare notes on our respective bicycle rides to work that morning, or our Big White ski adventures on the weekend.
She is truly a fine lady, and an inspiration to both the students and staff who had the good fortune to have known her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and with all your family.
    Susan and Greg Sanger.

A time to pay homage to a teacher I admired... Eileen was a classic. She was truly a role model for many of us. She had a unique way of integrating subject matter with varying learning styles that captured many students interests. A master.
