ARTICO, Luisa Lina - Went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2012 at the age of 88. She passed away suddenly and peacefully.

She is survived by her loving niece, Caterina (Fabio), nephew Lorenzo (predeceased by Dawn), brother-in-law, Ugo and brother Antonio and family. Her memory will live on in five beautiful grandchildren, Isabella, Selena, Matteo, Maria and Christina. She also leaves behind family in Quebec, USA, Italy, Australia, Brazil and Argentina and many beloved friends.

Luisa was well known and loved in both her church and Lake Country. Her strong faith in God was reflected in her sense of peace and compassion towards others and her life time supporting and helping those around her. Most notable after the death of her sister, Luisa helped raise her niece and nephew. Luisa’s gift to us was her sense of grace, selflessness and integrity. We thank you for being part of our lives.

The funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Saint Edwards Parish in Winfield, BC.
