ARMSTRONG, Gerald Emerson - Passed away suddenly on August 12th, 2011 at 79 years of age. He will now be out camping once again with Helen, his wife, who pre-deceased Gerry in 2007.
Gerry was born December 2,1931.
Survived by his loving family: Brett(Mary), Calen(Reyn), Sherry; grandchildren Mike, Emily, Sakura, Kiara; great grandsons Sean, James and Nicholas; siblings Jean(Richard), Lois(Ron), Jim, Lorne(Doreen); many nieces and nephews and friends. Gerry had found a new love in life with Maureen Evans who will also sadly miss Gerry from her life.
A member of the BCGEU since 1974 and also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Lanzville Branch No. 257. Gerry had a love for camping, fishing, his walking group and of course, his woodwork shop.
A loving brother, father, granddad, great granddad and uncle, his memory will be cherished and remembered by all in their hearts that Gerry touched with his sense of humour, infectious laugh and willingness to help whenever he could.
A Celebration of Life was held at the Royal Canadian Legion Lanzville Branch 257 on August 18th, 2011.
