AMBROSIO - Manuel Ramos went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 9, 2008 at the age of 97. He is survived by his loving family, four daughters: Isabel (Bill) Pires, Teresa Afonso, Irene (Ron) Hobson, Frances Lopes; two sons Tony (Kathy) Ambrosio, Frank (Cathy) Ambrosio all of Kelowna; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister Grancida Ambrosio of Portugal; nieces and nephews in Portugal and France. Predeceased by his loving wife Isabel on April 15, 2008, of 77 years; 21 brothers and one sister. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, May 14th at 7:00 pm at the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 15th at 1:00 pm at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, 750 North Rutland Road, Kelowna, BC with Father Otto Rollheiser OMI as Celebrant. Interment to follow in St. Theresa’s Catholic Cemetery. A gift in living memory of Manuel will be made to “Hospice Care” by Springfield Funeral Home.
