ALBISSER, Anna Ida (nee Vogler) - Slipped peacefully into the presence of her Lord on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008.

Anna was born on May 28th, 1920 in Lungerin, Switzerland. She, her husband Hans and their children immigrated to Canada in 1957.

Ida was predeceased by Hans in 1982. Ida is survived by four sons; Bert (Anne) of Whitehorse Y.T., Hans (Paige) of Dryden Ontario, Fritz (Gail) of Dryden, Ontario, Bill (Ruth) of Peachland, BC, and one daughter Ida (Ron Bartley) of Kelowna, BC, 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, July 17th, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Westbank Bible Chapel, 2412 Apollo Road, Westbank, BC.

If friends and family so desire, donations in Anna’s memory may be made to the Central Okanagan Hospice Association , 202 ~ 1456 St. Paul Street, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 2E6.

  I am so very sorry to hear of your great loss. The only comfort that can be given is in knowing that Grandma Albisser is alive forevermore with our Lord and Saviour and that we will be seeing her again.
  
  Grandma Albisser was a tremendous woman, loved by so many. She had such energy and a true passion for life and the Lord - she will be missed.
  
  All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I love you and miss you and would like to come for a visit when you are able to have company.
