Prosecutors say a Florida man resealed and returned used enemas to pharmacies who resold them to unsuspecting customers.
Thirty-four-year-old Ronald Eugene Robinson, of Jacksonville, faces federal charges of tampering with consumer products.
If convicted, Robinson faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Authorities say the customers who purchased the used enemas have been notified.
There were two phone listings for a Ronald E. Robinson in Jacksonville. The first was disconnected and no answered the second number.
Online prices list basic enemas as costs from about $3 to $10 each.
