Leonard Nimoy
Leonard Nimoy, the actor famous for playing Spock on the television series Star Trek, has died at 83.
The New York Times reports that Nimoy died of end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Nimoy announced that he had the disease last year.
According to the Internet Movie Database, Star Trek debuted in 1966.
Nimoy was a part of the show for 80 episodes from 1966 to 1986.
